Our second update of 2025 comes with A LOT of bug-slaying! As you’ve seen, we’ve been adding new features on top of making some big, sweeping changes to animation, hunger, and more. With your feedback, we were able to target some critical bugs - check out the whole list below!

🏗️ A Note About The Reef While you might catch glimpses of our new biome on the horizon, The Reef isn't quite ready for visitors yet! You'll encounter an invisible wall if you sail that way - but don't worry, we're hard at work bringing this stunning new area to life with tons of new art assets.


QoL / Bug Fix-Palooza

QoL Clean up on audio assets and occlusion on unnecessary components
QoL Enemy spawning more predictable
Bug Fix Smoother transitions from dodge rolls into other animations
Bug Fix Player can no longer ‘hold’ to continuously chop with axe
Bug Fix Replication issues with player animations

Bug Fix [Combat] Player can equip a bow and a shield at the same time
Bug Fix [Misc] The playable character eats two foods by interrupting the eating animation several times
Bug Fix [UI] Consuming one item using the keyboard activates the mouse selection too
Bug Fix [UI] The weight for any tool is doubled when it first goes to the hotbar
Bug Fix [Construction] The icons for the Medium Base and Medium Second Story are switched
Bug Fix The player is unable to remove any markers that are placed outside of the map range
Bug Fix Dropping an item with instance-specific data does not preserve the data
Bug Fix Players are unable to reconnect to a server they have previously connected to
Bug Fix Stamina Coyote Time No Longer Works
Bug Fix [Multiplayer] The walk, run, dodge and swim animations are missing for other players on the server
Bug Fix The Contextual Input Slot for Flexible Recipes incorrectly counts food that is in the hotbar
Bug Fix [Multiplayer] The swing VFX for the pickaxe and chopper animation are not visible for the host
Bug Fix [UI] UI prompts, HUD indicators, Echo Journals, revive prompt indicator, hold to gather prompt, death totem, press to build, press to interact with chests, utility stations, pick up indicator, spawn point indicator do not reflect Keybind changes
Bug Fix [Animation] There is an excessively long 'lock-out' period when transitioning from movement before player shield animation can play again
Bug Fix [Multiplayer] The host perceives the clients' movement slower
Bug Fix Torch does not 'deploy' when player equips and uses it
Bug Fix [Character] The gathering animation has a delay when collecting Berry Bush and Mana Shards
Bug Fix [Gathering] The User is able to move while in the gather animation
