🏝️ New Intro Sequence
- Completely Revamped Intro to Game
- After Character Creation, we’ve added a new animation that introduces you to the world of Nera and your role as an Echo
- Full art pass on the starting area creates a more immersive first impression
- New game flow from spawn point through the first cave

- Earlier Core Mechanics
- Diving and swimming mechanics are now introduced much sooner
- Introducing you to magical resources like an Ancient Fragment right off the bat
🦈Threat from Underwater Enemies
- Reworked Swimming Mechanics
- Adjusted swim speed to make underwater travel a more tactical decision
- Enhanced Enemy Behavior
- Deepfang Snappers now attack boats, creating danger during sea voyages
- Some targeted stat adjustments to underwater enemy damage, health, and other attributes
- Updated attack behavior makes underwater enemies much more threatening and aggressive
- Please share your feedback here! We’re still tuning and are seeing a wide range of behaviors. We want water enemies to be more threatening, but not for players to be constantly swarmed by piranhas!
- Bug Fixes
- Underwater creatures no longer get stranded on land!
⚔️ Enemy and Combat Updates

- Updates to the Shattered Enemies
- We have nerfed the Level 1 Shattered Enemies so that early enemies are easier to kill
- We have reduced the amount of enemies across the map, but tweaked their health and damage.
- We have given the Shattered Melee enemy a new combo attack so there is more variation to play against
- Enemy line of sight should be more appropriately blocked by obstacles
- Shattered Wisp (ranged) should attack less when a player has closed in on them
- Bug Fixes
- Many fixes to enemy pathing and aggro
🏯Ruins and Ancient’s Rest
- Level Design Improvements
- Rotated the Sunken Ruins closest to the Embrace Cove to make the underwater entrance more discoverable
- Players should now have an easier time finding how to interact with this important location!
